Halloween In Brooklyn (No Sleep Till)

Halloween In Brooklyn (No Sleep Till)

Halloween In Brooklyn is a Musical Track written by Sir David Isaac Featuring Tsebiyah Mishael. It’s a super fun and very catch pop song with synthesizers, the talkbox, and harmonies.

I came up with this track as I was playing around with the chords from the original Ghostbusters soundtrack. BAE BAE BAE I laid the keys and then went and explored the synthesizers. It was a lot of fun. I produced it in Logic and then took it took my producer Alvin Jones.

Personally, I love the phrasing of the song:

Verse 1:

This weekends Halloween and I’m feeling alright

Something bout this holiday the freaks come out tonight (Whoodini Sample)

My costumes ready, finished up at the salon I’m feeling freaky cause I got my catsuit on

People in the street they looking out at me Glitter stilletos, sephora makeup I can see

I get my girls, we got the limo driver Weaving through traffic I call him a tiger

Chorus:

Halloween in Brooklyn, People All Around (No Sleep till)

Halloween In Brooklyn, Where we go to get down (Trick or Treat)

Verse 2:

Once upon a time I heard about a halloween in Brooklyn

People on their porch with illuminated pumpkins

Kids in the street they movin to the beat
All we do is dance, we wanna make romance

Dj’s scratching records and playing his mix

Hip Hop, west coast funk, and old school hits

Wearing our cool costumes, we runnin this town

Everybody havin fun, yea man but I’m afraid of clowns.

Halloween in Brooklyn, People All Around (No Sleep till)

Halloween In Brooklyn, Where we go to get down (Trick or Treat)

Sir David Isaac Playing the talkbox on the Bridge with a microkorg and a banshee talkbox. It sounds super dope and you should definitely have a listen.
